Guidelines for Product Use and Care

Use the correct frame. If the mattress is placed on a platform bed, ensure the platform is solid. If intended for use with an adjustable base, confirm compatibility before use.

Purchase and use an approved mattress protector to maintain product quality. Mattresses displaying stains may not be eligible for returns or warranty claims.

Retain your receipt and do not remove the law tag from the mattress, as it contains necessary information for warranty claims.

Follow manufacturer-recommended stain removal procedures.

Expect natural changes in softness and foam recovery times due to use, temperature, and humidity.

Rotate the mattress 180º 3-4 times a year to ensure even wear. Do not flip unless specified.

Snooze Flip - Flip the mattress at the customer’s discretion unless otherwise stated by manufacturers. (if mattress is flip suited). 


Returns & Exchanges Policy 

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Ireland), customers who purchase online have 14 days from the date of delivery to cancel and return their order for a full refund, in-store purchases are not subject to the 14-day cooling-off period. This does not apply to special orders.

To return a product, it must be in its delivered form and original packaging, undamaged and not tampered with in any way.  Please ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase before assembly starts as if its assembled or part assembled, then unfortunately, this is deemed as acceptance of the products, and they can therefore not be returned. 

It is your responsibility to return the item to one of the appropriate return locations and must be returned within 14 days of notification of return.

Alternatively, we can arrange for your item to be collected by our team from your home. Please note a collection fee plus delivery charge will apply.

The mattress must be in unused and resalable condition.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of receiving the returned goods in resalable condition. Returns will incur a restocking fee for in store returns.

All special orders Incur a 15% percent cancellation Fee once the order is placed. 

 

Store Purchases

Customers must use an approved mattress protector for eligibility on store policies purchased in store.

Adjustable bases and custom orders are non-returnable.

Returns will not be accepted for items with stains, odours, tears, or signs of misuse.

Floor model sales cannot be returned.

Snooze offers a onetime 60-day comfort exchange (excluding Tempur mattresses & Display models) only on any mattress once purchased with an approved mattress protector & returned in pristine condition. A 45-day adjustment period is required before initiating a return on any Mattress. Returned mattresses may be exchanged for equal or higher value only (price difference payable). No refunds or credits are available when exchanging to a lower-priced mattress. It does not apply to bed frames, divans, adjustable or ottoman bases. A collection and re-delivery charge of €75 will be applied to each exchange.

Special Orders: Made-to-order goods and goods specially ordered for you must be cancelled within 3 days of placing an order. After this 3-day period, these items may have commenced production with the manufacturer or have been ordered and therefore cannot be cancelled. Once a special order has been received by the customer, it is not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty or not as described.

 

Tempur 40 Night Trial

The trial is only applicable for UK standard size (75/90x200 90x190 135x190 150x200 180x200). 

Bundle & Avebury sets along with legacy mattress are not applicable for this promotion. 

Trial starts from day of customer delivery.

The customer must keep the mattress for a minimum of 35 days before organising an exchange.

To be eligible for the TEMPUR® 40-night trial the customer must purchase and use a TEMPUR-Fit™ Mattress Protector OR an agreed protector from the retailer at point of purchase.

The customer must visit the store which they purchased the TEMPUR® Mattress from to reselect or obtain a refund.

During the trial the customer can exchange the TEMPUR® Mattress to another TEMPUR® Mattress sold by the retailer, 1 exchange is permitted. (with a returned mattress on this exchange is it for an equal or higher value price only (with price difference payable) with no refunds if selecting a lower priced mattress).

 Any free product received when purchasing a mattress will be chargeable if the mattress is returned.

The TEMPUR® Mattress MUST be free from stains damage and dirt for the mattress to be accepted back from the trial.

Any TEMPUR® Mattresses returned NOT in the correct state will NOT receive a refund from TEMPUR® UK LTD. 

 
Deliveries

If due to circumstances outside your control you are unable to accept delivery when your goods arrive into us we are happy to store your goods Free of Charge in our warehouse for a maximum period of 4 weeks, providing the goods have been paid for in full within 7 days of notification of availability. If after this period you are still unable to accept delivery then a further 4-week storage facility will be available, however, a storage fee of €50 per week will apply.

 

Local Deliveries are carried out by a 3rd party delivery service, €60 fee is payable to Snooze or direct to company on delivery, in home assembly is an additional €50 fee. Please note deliveries outside a 30-mile radius of store location & National deliveries may incur a greater delivery fee from our service provider.

 

Our policy is to give you an AM or PM time slot, however, as you can appreciate due to circumstances outside our control such as traffic congestion and bad weather, we may not always be able to meet this time slot. If your delivery is to be delayed for any reason a member of our Despatch Team will phone you to explain the problem, and they will confirm a new time slot with you. Please ensure that at the time of delivery you have provided sufficient contact telephone numbers for us to be able to reach you at all times during that particular day.

 

Once the delivery team enters the customer’s premises, Snooze Mattress Ireland Ltd. shall not be held liable for damage to property, fixtures, fittings, flooring, walls, doorways, or personal items, except where damage is caused by proven negligence.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that:

Clear and safe access is provided for delivery,

All breakable, fragile, or valuable items are removed from the delivery route,

Hallways, stairways, and doorways are free from obstacles.

Where access is restricted, unsafe, or likely to cause damage, the delivery team reserves the right to refuse or reschedule delivery, and additional delivery charges may apply.

 

Delivery & Return Costs


If an item is faulty or not as described, Snooze Mattress Ireland will cover return shipping costs in compliance with Irish consumer law.

For non-faulty returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Comfort/Warranty Issues: Body impressions up to 3.5cm are considered normal wear and not covered.

Delivery Delays Disclaimer (for third-party couriers): While we coordinate delivery on your behalf, Snooze Mattress Ireland is not liable for delays caused by third-party delivery services.

Non-Returnable Items

Bedding items removed from original packaging cannot be returned due to hygiene regulations.

Please note that divans, pillows, sheets, protectors and duvets cannot be returned after they are unsealed for hygiene reasons. 

 

Warranty Information

Most manufacturer warranties cover physical defects, such as sagging and coil issues.

Comfort issues are not covered under warranty.

Stains, odours, rips, and abuse of materials void warranty coverage.

Any breach of the Fire Barrier will void the warranty. 


Tempur mattresses include a 10-year manufacturer warranty plus a 15-year extended warranty, totalling 25 years. 


Snooze mattresses include a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. 


Snooze by King Koil mattresses include a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. 


Snooze by Odearest mattresses include an 8-year manufacturer’s warranty. 


Snooze by Spring Air and Snooze Bamboo Range mattresses include a 7-year manufacturer’s warranty. 


Snooze by Spring Air Copper Range mattresses include a 7- Year warranty 


Bedgear – 1 year warranty on Pillows/protectors 


PureCare- 1 year warranty Pillows/protectors
